Kevin Kimball, Senior Pastor

Pastor Kevin became the Senior Pastor at New Life on June 1, 2014, following the retirement of Pastor Bob Emery, and after having served several years as a New Life Associate Pastor. He also serves the church as a worship leader, member of the Discipleship Ministry Team, and a LIFE Group leader, and he presides over the church Leadership Team. Pastor Kevin received his ministerial education through the Assemblies of God Berean College. He was licensed by the Assemblies of God in 1989 and was ordained through Maranatha Ministerial Fellowship International. Pastor Kevin retired from IBM after 35+ years as a logistical tech to serve as New Life’s Senior Pastor. He has been married to his wife Laurie (who is actively involved in ministry at New Life) for many years, and they have raised 5 awesome children. They have 11 beautiful grandchildren. Pastor Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and family. His hobbies include fishing, playing guitar, singing/songwriting, “playing” golf, garage sales, running, mountain biking, and riding motorcycles. He also enjoys traveling with Laurie, trying different foods, hiking, and spending time with their black lab, Rocky.

Sheila Flowers, Associate Pastor

Pastor Sheila was born in Chatom, Alabama and became a Christian at the age of 18. She is a graduate of the University of South Alabama and holds a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education with a major in Spanish. She and her family moved to Vermont in 1989 as bi-vocational church planters and, in 1990, started Milton Baptist Fellowship in Milton, Vermont. In 1997, she and her husband became a support family at New Life. In 2004-2005, the Flowers served as missionaries in Haiti with New Missions based in Orlando, FL. She was ordained by Maranatha Ministerial Fellowship and has served as associate pastor since 2005. Pastor Sheila serves on the Leadership Team. She oversees the Children’s Ministry Team and the Life Group Ministry Team and facilitates a LIFE Group. She is also part of the regular preaching rotation. Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, camping, gardening, and traveling with her husband, Paul. Pastors Sheila and Paul have two children, two grandsons, and two great granddaughters.

Paul Flowers, Associate Pastor

Pastor Paul was born in Cairo, Georgia. He and his wife Sheila were married in 1975 in Mobile, Alabama. He became a Christian on March 30, 1980 at Orchard Baptist Church in Mobile where he then worked with children, adults and the church administration. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) from 1985-1989. While in New Orleans, he served his local church and as a student intern at the Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans, an inner city mission. He was awarded a Master of Religious Education degree in May 1989 by NOBTS. He and his family then moved to Vermont where he became a bi-vocational church starter and, in 1990, started Milton Baptist Fellowship in Milton, Vermont. In 1997, he and his wife became a support family to New Life Christian Church. In 2004-2005, he and Sheila served as missionaries in Haiti with New Missions based in Orlando, Florida. He has served as an associate pastor at New Life since 2005. He was ordained by Maranatha Ministerial Fellowship. At New Life, Pastor Paul serves on the Leadership Team, facilitates a LIFE Group, and is part of the regular preaching rotation. His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, camping, photography, and traveling.
